June 10, 2019 — AVCOM has more new toys! AVCOM Media has just finished buiding our new audio editing suite. The system uses the new Universal Audio Apollo X8 interface with an ART Digital MPA II dual preamp, a screaming computer and storage system and a Behringer multichannel control surface. We are looking forward to exploiting all of the new plugins that this beast offers. Just waiting for our new Townsend Labs Sphere microphone. The Sphere L22™ microphone system from Townsend Labs models the characteristics of the most sought-after large-diaphragm condenser microphones with amazing accuracy and allows selection of different mics and patterns even after recording. January 31, 2019 — AVCOM has new toys! AVCOM Media has just finished updating its studio with our new 4K editing suite. Our new system is comprised of a water cooled 32 core processor computer, two Nvidia Quadro Graphics cards, Black Magic design’s 4K Extreme Video Capture card, the Teranex SDI A/V cross converter interface, and a Tangent Element color grading panel. Learning about the extraordinary history behind the elected women in Colorado was an eye opening event. The compilation of oral histories from past and current female elected officials is the foundation for this documentary film. So what's going on in Colorado? Why does Colorado have this proud history of electing women to public office? What difference have elected women made in our state? And why hasn't Colorado elected a female Governor, U.S. Senator, or Mayor of Denver? Friday 13th June 2014 — Multi-Language DVD Authoring with Subtitles Completed DVD authoring of the Tattoo Nation documentary in NTSC & PAL for commercial replication and distribution. The project incorporated extensive animated menus, multi- track audio (stereo, 5.1 surround & commentary tracks) and subtitling in four languages. Eric Schwartz, the producer of this documentary, did a wonderful job of capturing the origin and essence of tattoo culture.
