The AVCOM Media Production team offers years of experience with a core of talented individuals who take pride in every project we pursue. We enjoy what we do! Helping our clients achieve their communication goals is our mission.

E. Bjarne Blume — Co-founder

Mr. Blume received BS degree in Finance in 1985 from the University of Wyoming. After graduation, he pioneered a computer software and hardware Value Added Reseller (VAR) company, specializing in graphics and multimedia. During this time, he produced a nationally acclaimed video tutorial on Microsoft Windows. In 1994, he merged his company's expertise with an aviation technical training video production facility to form AVCOM Media Production. He expanded the company’s production to include the medical, industrial, and communication markets. Bjarne has extensive experience in video and multimedia production operations and has also expanded his skills in audio/visual development. He has been instrumental in maintaining current technical facilities, including state of the art technology for videography, film, audio editing/mixing, graphics and animation.

Kennet Plantell — Co-founder

Kennet Plantell is a multimedia industry pioneer with over 50 years of experience. Since 1962 he has been involved with film (still and motion), video, multimedia and many associated fields that are intertwined with this industry. Kennet has worked with real and abstract technology over the years with 35mm film, the 12 foot Oxberry animation camera, slide duplication, graphics and audio and video production. In the 1960s, Kennet recognized the advantages of the audio- visual medium and worked with a team to create a refined pilot-qualification system for the airline industry. He produced over 550 Airport Qualification programs for the majority of the commercial airlines in the world. His knowledge of how to take real world ideas from clients and port them to the media world is paramount to our company operations.

Tage Plantell — Silver Halide

During Tage’s career, he has worked as a Video Producer, Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Steadicam Operator, Drone Operator, Audio Engineer, Video Editor, Motion Graphics Designer, Director and Producer. It was from his father that he learned the principals of exposing and composing a camera. When Tage was nine years old, he and his brother made a short film using Super 8 cameras. The film premiered in their 4th-grade classroom. The kids loved it. That’s when both Tage and and his brother Stig realized that creating visual content wasn’t only fun, but it was also something that people really connected with. They were both hooked. Although commercial photography, film production, and broadcast TV are all very similar to each other in many ways, they all have their very specific components that take time, practice, patience and experience to achieve. Tage has strived to learn it all. Tage has a bachelors degree in film production. However, it wasn’t until after working 12 years behind the camera and eight years in post-production that he felt like he finally had a solid grasp of the subtleties in a wide variety of styles and productions. At the end of the day… his goal is enjoying the work that he does while also taking the time to enjoy his lifestyle outside of work. Where is he filming now? I have 25+ years of combined know-how with: 2D/CG animation, filmed entertainment, video games, television, streaming media, theme park shows, haunted attractions, exhibits, corporate video, national touring acts and stage craft.
